Operations Coordinator – Load Out

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Coordinator to oversee our load‑out process and support daily delivery operations at one of our profit centres. The role is based in our office/warehouse and works closely with motor carriers, location management and the distribution centre team to ensure shipments are prepared, loaded and dispatched efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate day‑to‑day delivery operations, monitoring morning load‑out, delivery activity and motor carrier performance.
• Oversee the load‑out process to ensure products are handled correctly and securely loaded to minimise damage.
• Report load‑out and carrier compliance in a timely manner using the agreed communication mechanisms.
• Maintain professional relationships with location managers, peers, motor carriers and client personnel.
• Provide operational support to the distribution centre, including audits and process improvements.
• Utilise client‑specific routing software to monitor routes, process reschedules and handle returns through the client portal.
• Communicate updates and coordinate with other departments as needed.
