Operations Controller – Santa Clara

About the role

The Operations Controller will oversee all accounting activities for assigned accounts and support the Regional Director of Finance in managing the financial health of the region. This role is central to ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control within a dynamic foodservice environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform reconciliations and analysis for multiple balance‑sheet accounts.
• Analyze financial results for internal and external stakeholders.
• Track and maintain monthly P&L and balance‑sheet activity.
• Develop forecasts and budgets, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Review general ledger entries and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including audit documentation.
• Maintain inventory and cost‑control procedures.
• Administer payroll and basic human‑resources functions.
• Support special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum five years of experience in revenue control, financial reporting, and cash handling.
• Prior experience in foodservice or retail accounting; foodservice operations experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash‑flow analyses.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Required skills

• Point‑of‑Sale (POS) system reporting.
