Operations Associate – Founding Team Member

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Associate to join the founding team of Known, a fast‑growing AI‑powered dating startup preparing for a major consumer launch in 2025. You will work closely with the Head of Operations and the founders to keep the company’s internal engine running smoothly while driving go‑to‑market strategy and partnership initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support GTM strategy by coordinating launch plans, timelines, and cross‑functional execution.
• Drive partnerships by sourcing, contacting, and managing relationships with venues, creators, and brand partners.
• Coordinate marketing efforts, organizing campaigns, events, and content operations with the growth team.
• Provide recruiting support, building pipelines, coordinating candidate experience, and keeping hiring on track.
• Handle financial operations, including expense management, payment tracking, and maintaining a healthy financial pulse.
• Work directly with founders, contributing to daily decisions across product, growth, and operations.
• Develop operational excellence by building processes that improve speed, intelligence, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Approximately 1 year of experience in consulting, investment banking, or another high‑performance environment.
• Highly organized operator who can turn chaos into clarity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable owning ambiguous problems and converting them into actionable plans.
• Scrappy, resource‑ful, and motivated to do whatever it takes to win.
• Passionate about startups, technology, and redefining how people meet.
• Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate there.
