Operations and Marketing Coordinator

About the role

The Operations & Marketing Coordinator serves as the operational backbone and public face of the Capitol Applied Learning Labs (CALL) at Georgetown University. This hybrid role blends strategic planning, daily administration, and brand advocacy to foster an inclusive community for students, alumni, faculty, and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact, welcoming prospective and current students, alumni, faculty, and practitioners to build a vibrant CALL community.
• Maintain and update the CALL website and blogs using WordPress, ensuring accurate and engaging digital content.
• Partner with the Provost’s Office to execute and track faculty and practitioner contracts, and manage onboarding and HR transactions for staff and contractors.
• Create and distribute digital marketing campaigns, newsletters, social media posts, and printed collateral to support recruitment and program visibility.
• Coordinate with the registrar and scheduling teams for course registration, classroom scheduling, and student enrollment.
• Support budget planning, track instructional costs, manage the unit ProCard, and perform monthly budget reconciliations.
• Supervise, hire, and approve hours for a team of 5+ undergraduate student workers and oversee office operations and supply procurement.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple administrative processes simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on community building and brand representation.
• Experience working in higher‑education or similar academic environments is preferred.
