Operational Medicine Physician – $400k Bonus

About the role

The U.S. Navy is seeking a qualified physician to serve as an Operational Medicine Officer. You will provide comprehensive medical care to Sailors, Marines, and operational units, ensuring they remain medically ready for mission requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver primary care, treat acute illnesses and injuries, and conduct physical examinations.
• Manage medical readiness programs and coordinate follow‑up care for a unique patient population.
• Advise command leadership on health and readiness status of assigned personnel.
• Provide medical support for operational missions ashore and at sea.

Required profile

• MD or DO from an accredited institution (or ECFMG certified).
• Unrestricted medical license.
• U.S. citizenship and high moral character.
• Age between 21 and 57, per Federal law (Title 10 U.S. Code sections 531 and 532).
