Operating Room Circulator RN - Sign-On Bonus

About the role

AdventHealth Winter Garden is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse Operating Room Circulator for a Monday to Friday shift (06:30-15:00). The role involves assessing patients, developing care plans and administering treatments in the operating room. Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and needs through comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized care plans.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring continuous care.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to prescribed protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Document patient care activities to keep medical records accurate and up to date.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments and post-discharge care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• 1+ year of operating room experience and 1+ year of surgery experience.
• Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license and Basic Life Support (CPR) certification (required).
• Proficiency in English and ability to communicate effectively (required).
• Works independently, takes direction from physicians and management, and maintains safe knowledge of equipment, procedures, supplies, IV pumps, glucose monitors and sterilization policies (required).

• Electronic Health Record (EHR) charting (required)
• Computer literacy (preferred)
