Open Rank Professor – Management Science

About the role

The College of Business at East Texas A&M University seeks an open‑rank faculty member in Management Science with a focus on Supply Chain and Operations. This full‑time, nine‑month, tenure‑track position will involve teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting research, and providing service to the department.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve teaching and learning processes using appropriate methodologies and technologies.
• Participate in curriculum development, assessment, and keep course content current with disciplinary advances.
• Maintain compliance with university policies, AACSB accreditation standards, and faculty qualification requirements.
• Provide office hours, advise students, and collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners on program development and community engagement.
• Contribute to institutional, college, and departmental service as assigned.

Required profile

• Terminal degree in a relevant business field from an AACSB‑accredited program, earned within the past five years.
• Peer‑reviewed journal publications sufficient to maintain AACSB Scholarly Academic status for an R2 research university.
• Eligibility to serve as graduate faculty and ability to supervise faculty and staff.
• Must be able to work onsite in Commerce, Texas; visa sponsorship is not available.

Required skills

• Relevant professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional, Certified Production & Inventory Management, Certified Logistics, Transportation & Distribution, ISM Professional in Supply Management, Certified Lean Practitioner, or Lean Six Sigma.
• Demonstrated teaching experience in management science, supply chain, or operations subjects.
