Oncology Nurse Surveyor – Nationwide RN Field Representative

About the role
The Oncology Nurse Surveyor will travel nationwide to assess acute‑care facilities for compliance with Joint Commission standards. Acting as an RN Field Representative, you will engage with healthcare staff, evaluate systems, and report findings to senior leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site surveys of hospitals and oncology units across the United States.
- Apply systems analysis and inductive reasoning to determine compliance levels and identify system vulnerabilities.
- Facilitate interactive dialogues with organization staff on standards‑based issues.
- Prepare detailed management reports linking deficiencies to organizational risk.
- Communicate findings constructively to leadership and support improvement initiatives.
- Participate in additional Joint Commission activities as assigned.
Required profile
- Graduate of an approved nursing school with a current RN license.
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum five years recent healthcare experience, including three years direct clinical oncology nursing.
- At least two years in accreditation, certification leadership, or senior management.
- Direct involvement in two Joint Commission surveys.
- Excellent critical‑thinking, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
