About the role
The Office of Disciplinary Counsel is seeking a professional Office Assistant/Receptionist to provide front‑line support. Working under general supervision, you will be the first point of contact for callers and visitors, ensuring a courteous and efficient experience.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all incoming calls to the main office line, forwarding them accurately and taking messages as needed.
- Greet visitors, determine the purpose of their visit, and direct them to the appropriate staff member or office.
- Handle routine information requests directly or refer callers/visitors to the correct personnel.
- Perform general clerical duties such as maintaining an internal directory, recordkeeping, ordering supplies, coordinating equipment maintenance, and processing packages and correspondence.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned, supporting the overall efficiency of the office.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of clerical or administrative experience.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in correspondence, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact courteously with judges, attorneys, and the public.
Required skills
- Proficient computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
