Off-Shift Filtrete Production Supervisor

About the role

This position is a fixed night‑shift role supervising the production of Filtrete products at 3M’s Clinton facility. You will work closely with global 3M teams, applying lean principles to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a safe and sustainable work environment by modeling safe behaviors and addressing safety issues.
• Establish priorities and allocate work assignments to meet daily production targets using lean management processes.
• Monitor production rates, yields, and product quality, communicating results and driving continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Lead, coach and develop production employees, oversee training, recognize performance and participate in hiring, including contingent workers.
• Represent plant leadership on cross‑functional initiatives and provide supervision coverage for alternative shifts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or high school diploma/GED with five years of manufacturing experience) and at least two years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military setting.
• Current, valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
