Off-Page SEO Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Off-Page SEO Specialist to drive search visibility, rankings, and authority growth for multiple client accounts. This fully remote independent‑contractor position requires a self‑motivated professional who can manage SEO deliverables autonomously while collaborating closely with our On‑Page SEO Managers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute off‑page SEO strategies to improve rankings and domain authority.
• Research, identify, and secure high‑quality link‑building opportunities.
• Conduct competitor backlink analysis and uncover strategic opportunities.
• Manage and optimize local citations, business listings, and directory placements.
• Monitor backlink profiles, identify toxic links, and coordinate remediation.
• Collaborate with On‑Page SEO Managers to align content, keyword, and overall SEO strategies.
• Track, analyze, and report on SEO performance, backlink growth, and ranking changes.
• Assist developers and content teams with technical SEO coordination when needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in off‑page SEO and link‑building.
• Strong understanding of Google ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
