Occupational Therapist – Outpatient

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a part‑time Occupational Therapist to join the Outpatient team at the Twinsburg Medical Office Building. You will help patients regain independence by evaluating, treating, and educating them on daily living skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, emotional, cognitive and psychosocial deficits that affect independent living.
• Design and implement individualized plans of care, selecting appropriate modalities and frequencies.
• Document subjective and objective findings, monitor progress, and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about deficits, adaptive equipment, and discharge planning.
• Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians in accordance with state regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and graduation from an AOTA‑accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Ohio licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Ability to walk, lift, and maintain balance to support patients during therapy.
• Strong manual dexterity and visual acuity for assessing motor movements.
