OB/GYN Physician – Associate Position in Central NJ

About the role

Somerset OB/GYN Associates, an Axia Women’s Health care center in Central New Jersey, is seeking an OB/GYN Associate Physician to join a multidisciplinary team delivering comprehensive women’s health services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal, labor, delivery, postpartum, and surgical services.
• Participate in a 1:5 on‑call rotation with post‑call day off.
• Utilize digital mammography, bone density (DEXA) scanning, and ACR‑accredited ultrasound equipment.
• Collaborate with Saint Peter’s University Hospital’s Level III NICU and regional perinatal center.
• Teach and mentor residents within the OB/GYN residency program.
• Engage in robotic‑assisted procedures where applicable.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible OB/GYN physician.
• Eligibility for a New Jersey medical license, CDS and DEA.
• Willingness to participate in on‑call duties and a team‑oriented environment.
• Interest in academic medicine and resident education.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital mammography.
• Experience performing bone density (DEXA) scans.
• Advanced ultrasound skills (ACR Gold Standard accreditation).
• Familiarity with robotic surgical platforms.
