About the role
Join a premier OB/GYN practice at Women & Infants Hospital, part of the Care New England Health System. This full‑spectrum position offers a collaborative, academic environment with a low call schedule and opportunities for teaching and research.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to a diverse patient population.
- Collaborate with Women & Infants sub‑specialty physicians and a team of 12 CNMs.
- Participate in a call schedule of three 12‑hour calls per month, with ER coverage by the Brown OB/GYN residency program.
- Precept medical students and residents; support for an academic appointment at Brown University.
- Document all patient interactions using the EPIC electronic health record system.
Required profile
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completed or currently enrolled in an ACGME‑accredited OB/GYN residency.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Active Rhode Island medical, CSR, and DEA licenses (or eligibility).
- Commitment to collaborative, patient‑centered care.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the EPIC electronic health record system.
