OAR Lead – Canandaigua

About the role

The OAR Lead will coordinate the activities of Outpatient Access staff within the Orthopedic Clinic front office in Canandaigua. This full‑time position supports clinic leadership, ensures efficient patient flow, and serves as the primary resource for staff using electronic record systems.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of Outpatient Access employees and ensure accurate, efficient, customer‑friendly service.
• Provide operational support to clinic leadership, including personnel matters, performance evaluations, and staff improvement plans.
• Act as the front‑office eRecord super‑user, assisting with workflow design, implementation, and system optimization.
• Support referral coordination, prior authorizations, and main provider assistance.
• Train and assign duties to less‑experienced support staff and oversee staff training activities.
• Identify and implement operational changes to improve clinic functioning.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience (approximately 2 years) in a clinical or healthcare administrative setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
• Strong organizational and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation.

Required skills

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
