Nutrition Procurement Compliance Supervisor

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a Nutrition Procurement Compliance Supervisor to oversee procurement activities for two federally funded child nutrition programs. This full‑time position will manage contract processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and support initiatives that bring local foods to early‑child‑care providers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and monitor up to two staff members handling procurement‑related functions such as online vendor registration, contract review, and records maintenance.
• Oversee grant‑awarded projects from initiation to completion, tracking deliverables, timelines, and spending against budgets.
• Evaluate and approve procurement procedures for the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and Happy Helpings (Summer Food Service Program).
• Ensure all estimated costs for federally reimbursed purchases comply with federal regulations and state policy.
• Maintain required documentation to meet federal approval and retention requirements.
• Review and interpret new or proposed regulations related to CACFP and Happy Helpings procurement.
• Implement technological enhancements to the State Agency website and processing system to automate and streamline procurement requirements.
• Provide procurement training and education to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Ability to travel as required and maintain a reliable vehicle.
• Knowledge of federal procurement regulations and state policies governing child nutrition programs.
• Experience supervising staff and managing grant‑related projects.
