Nursing Instructor – Full‑Time Faculty Position

About the role

Join the Nursing and Life Sciences Division at Gwinnett Technical College as a full‑time Nursing Instructor. You will teach undergraduate nursing courses, primarily obstetrics, on the Alpharetta North‑Fulton campus with occasional duties at the Lawrenceville campus.

Key responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans, syllabi, and program objectives for accredited nursing courses.
• Deliver classroom instruction and supervise clinical experiences in medical‑surgical settings.
• Evaluate student performance, maintain documentation, and ensure program certification compliance.
• Manage classroom supplies, budget requests, and participate in faculty development activities.

Required profile

• Doctorate or Master’s degree in a nursing discipline (or pursuing a Master’s with 18 graduate hours completed).
• Current RN licensure in Georgia.
• Faculty credentialed to satisfy regulatory and accrediting bodies.
• Ability to teach both classroom and multiple clinical settings.

Required skills
