Nursing Clinical Coordinator – Clinical Scheduling Lead

About the role

The Georgia State Government seeks a Nursing Clinical Coordinator to manage clinical schedules for Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) and Practical Nursing (PN) programs. This position ensures smooth placement of students in clinical sites, maintains laboratory resources, and guarantees compliance with accreditation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and secure clinical placements for ASN and PN students, managing relationships with clinical partners.
• Maintain up‑to‑date clinical site contracts and ensure they meet accreditation requirements.
• Develop and oversee laboratory schedules, equipment, and supply inventory.
• Communicate clinical and laboratory expectations to students and faculty.
• Track student compliance with immunizations, background checks, drug screenings, and certifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.
• Active, unencumbered RN license in Georgia.
• At least two years of related experience (or equivalent degree substitution).
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple schedules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
