Nurse Project Manager – Maternal & Infant Health Curriculum

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences seeks a Nurse Project Manager to lead statewide quality improvement and workforce development programs focused on maternal and infant health. This role involves designing, implementing, and evaluating educational curricula for a range of health professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum on maternal and infant health for nurses, community health workers, physicians, and EMTs.
• Research topics, create instructional materials, assessments, and coordinate with subject‑matter experts.
• Secure approvals from credentialing bodies, establish external training partnerships, and manage work plans and reporting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across UAMS College of Public Health, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and state agencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in nursing and a current active RN license.
• Minimum four years of project leadership/management experience.
• Familiarity with continuing education accreditation (CME, CNE, EMS CE).

Required skills

• Graphic design capabilities for instructional materials.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
