Nurse Practitioner/Sub-Investigator

About the role

Civia Health is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join its clinical research team. You will support Phase 2–4 trials focused on metabolic conditions and GLP-1 therapies, working directly with participants and investigators to ensure high‑quality, patient‑centered research.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct study visits, including medical assessments, physical exams, and protocol‑specific procedures.
• Collaborate with principal investigators and research staff to maintain safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Educate and engage participants, answering questions and ensuring comfort throughout the trial.
• Identify, document, and report adverse events according to protocol and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate source records and enter data into electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
• Contribute to workflow improvements and occasional travel for audits or site visits.

Required profile

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical research experience, preferably in Phase 2–4 trials.
• Experience with GLP‑1 therapies or metabolic/endocrine research is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines; certification a plus.
• Excellent clinical judgment, attention to detail, and communication skills.
