Nurse Practitioner – Podiatric Care (Part‑Time/Full‑Time)

About the role

Preferred Podiatry Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide podiatric‑focused care in long‑term care, nursing homes, skilled nursing and senior living facilities. The role involves delivering foot and lower‑limb services, diabetic foot care, and patient education while collaborating with facility staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide podiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment to residents in long‑term and senior care settings.
• Deliver diabetic foot care, wound prevention, and mobility education.
• Collaborate with facility staff to ensure coordinated, patient‑centered care.
• Participate in Medicare quality programs to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document all visits in the NextGen EMR using a company‑issued iPad.

Required profile

• Master’s degree and completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active RN license and NP certification (ANCC or AANP).
• 2–5 years of podiatry experience preferred; long‑term care experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with NextGen EMR for clinical documentation.
