Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Orthopedic & Pain Management (Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a modern multidisciplinary wellness and pain‑management clinic in Midtown Manhattan on a part‑time basis (one day per week). The role focuses on hands‑on, procedural care for orthopedics, sports medicine, chronic pain, and regenerative therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct orthopedic and musculoskeletal examinations and evaluate patients with chronic pain, sports injuries, joint dysfunction, migraines, and nerve pain.
• Review imaging, prior treatment history, and functional limitations; order labs or additional imaging when needed.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Perform a range of injections, including trigger‑point, steroid, corticosteroid, joint, and ultrasound‑guided musculoskeletal injections.
• Administer regenerative‑medicine treatments and peptide therapy, and evaluate/fitting of durable medical equipment (DME).
• Coordinate care with chiropractors, physical therapists, acupuncturists, and rehabilitation specialists.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Required profile

• Active NY State license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in pain management, orthopedics, PM&R, sports medicine, or regenerative medicine.
• Comfortable performing injections independently.

Required skills

• Trigger‑point, steroid, corticosteroid and joint injection techniques.
• Ultrasound‑guided musculoskeletal injection proficiency.
• Regenerative‑medicine treatment administration.
• Peptide therapy administration and management.
• Durable medical equipment (DME) evaluation and fitting.
• Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation.
