Nurse Practitioner – Integrative/Functional Medicine

About the role

Join Seldovia Village Tribe’s SVT Health & Wellness clinic in Homer, Alaska as a Nurse Practitioner delivering integrative and functional medicine. You will provide primary care blended with holistic modalities to support the health of our community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct primary clinical, wellness, and preventive care to patients.
• Integrate family health with functional medicine approaches.
• Conduct individual and group health education sessions.
• Coordinate care with other holistic providers and manage referrals.
• Maintain accurate medical records, super‑bills, and timely documentation.
• Participate in data collection, grant administration, and quality‑improvement activities.
• Travel to nearby communities (e.g., Anchor Point) as needed for patient visits.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Nursing with appropriate certification.
• Experience in primary care and a strong interest in integrative or functional medicine.
• Ability to see an average of 14 patients per day and manage open‑access scheduling.
• Willingness to travel by small aircraft or boat to remote locations.
