NSO Planner II

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an NSO Planner II to manage material resources planning and ensure timely delivery of components to manufacturing and engineering teams in Gloucester, MA.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain Oracle work order release schedule and reschedule discrete jobs as needed.
• Perform pre‑shortage analysis, work order variance analysis, and reconcile supply and demand.
• Review and validate MRP execution, master scheduling, and engineering change orders.
• Conduct regular system maintenance, audits, and generate status reports for ECOs and ECRs.
• Participate in production meetings, floor audits, and resolve WIP issues.

Required profile

• Demonstrated conceptual knowledge in production planning and inventory control.
• Understanding of key business drivers and ability to apply them to daily tasks.
• Provides informal guidance to new team members.
• Solves routine problems using technical experience and judgment.

Required skills

• Oracle ERP for work order management.
• Material Resources Planning (MRP) systems.
• Inventory control and analysis.
