NPI A&T Technician IV – 2nd/3rd Shift

About the role

Moog’s Military Aircraft Group is seeking a New Product Introduction (NPI) Assembly & Test (A&T) Technician IV to support aircraft production programs on a 2nd or 3rd shift at the East Aurora, NY facility. The role reports to the Process Manager and involves hands‑on testing, setup, and troubleshooting of new product lines.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct environmental, functional, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic tests and measurements for development and qualification.
• Establish performance test setups for assemblies, sub‑assemblies, and systems, including fixtures, tooling, equipment, and temperature gauges.
• Provide comprehensive support for the A&T process—manufacturing, development, fixturing, tooling, test equipment, qualification, delivery, and producibility monitoring.
• Collaborate with Engineering to diagnose test failures, perform rework, and implement corrective actions while maintaining schedule commitments.
• Drive improvements in product quality, traceability, data records, and safety initiatives.
• Interface with cross‑functional teams such as Product, Manufacturing, Design Engineering, Planning, and Operations.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to understand English work instructions and perform basic arithmetic.
• Minimum 5 years experience in assembly and test operations.
• Experience with at least two of the following technologies: DDV, linear actuation, pumps & motors, rotary actuation, subcomponents.
• Eligibility to enroll in the FAA Drug & Alcohol Program as required by strict FAA safety‑sensitive regulations.
• Willingness to work a 2nd or 3rd shift schedule onsite.
