Night Shift Yard Operator – Full Time

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Night Shift Yard Operator to safeguard our chemistry facility’s grounds, manage deliveries, and support safe chemical storage. The role is essential to maintaining site security, safety, and operational efficiency during overnight hours.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor all entrances and exits, preventing unauthorized or unlawful entry.
• Patrol the site on foot or in a vehicle, greeting visitors, issuing temporary IDs, and maintaining a visitor log.
• Report incidents or suspicious activity to management, safety personnel, or public authorities as required.
• Perform routine facility maintenance, housekeeping, and general yard upkeep.
• Lead and coach safety practices, promoting a strong safety culture.
• Assist with staging deliveries, packaging products, and conducting inspections in line with safety policies and regulations.
• Carry out any special duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Ability to follow instructions from truck drivers and company personnel.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions and variable night‑shift schedules.
• Physical capability to perform duties safely and without difficulty.
• Experience with warehouse tasks, preventative maintenance, receiving shipments, and organizing chemical storage.
• Understanding of container labeling and associated product hazards.
