Night Shift Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

About the role

AVIR Health Group is looking for a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to work the night shift in a long‑term care setting. You will provide direct nursing care to residents and oversee the daily nursing activities on your assigned unit.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver hands‑on nursing care to residents during night hours.
• Supervise and coordinate the day‑to‑day nursing tasks of the unit.
• Ensure compliance with Texas nursing regulations, long‑term care guidelines, and facility policies.
• Document patient care accurately and communicate critical information to the day‑shift team.

Required profile

• Valid Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
• Current CPR certification.
• IV certification preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, medical procedures, and relevant laws and regulations.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Required skills

• IV therapy (certification preferred).
• CPR certification.
