New Product Introduction (NPI) Manager

About the role

The New Product Introduction (NPI) Manager will lead cross‑functional projects from concept through commercial launch, owning and improving the processes that enable successful product commercialization. This high‑visibility, hands‑on role is ideal for an organized, process‑driven professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑project‑volume environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end product launch projects from concept approval through plant trials, scale‑up, validation and launch.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously across retail, industrial and food‑service channels.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, including timelines, risk registers, budgets and launch readiness criteria.
• Identify and resolve risks, bottlenecks and dependencies; drive stage‑gate execution.
• Ensure new products are launched with documented, repeatable, capable processes.
• Support equipment needs, line modifications and capital improvements for launches.
• Own and maintain SOPs across the product launch lifecycle and drive process adoption.
• Serve as central point of contact for R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing and Sales.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 5+ years experience in product management, project management or product commercialization.
• Experience in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG) strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional projects.

Required skills

• Experience developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Strong knowledge of stage‑gate processes and risk management.
• Familiarity with equipment, line modification and capital improvement planning for new product launches.
