New Grad Software Engineer

About the role

PointOnePointOne is building an AI‑powered timekeeper that automates billable time capture for law firms. As a New Grad Software Engineer you will join a fast‑growing engineering team, work on‑site with customers, and help shape the next generation of AI‑driven legal workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop novel AI‑enabled products that create new customer workflows.
• Collaborate directly with law‑firm users, visit their offices, gather requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Prototype and integrate retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) pipelines to validate new features.
• Mentor future hires, conduct pair programming, and perform code reviews.
• Contribute to the engineering culture and drive technical and product decisions.

Required profile

• Significant internship experience at hyper‑growth startups or leading tech companies.
• Computer Science degree from a top university.
• Strong product sense and high ownership, able to work autonomously.
• Eagerness to work on‑site, interact with customers, and deliver high‑impact solutions.

Required skills

• Go programming language.
• React and TypeScript for client‑side development.
• AWS serverless services and micro‑service architecture.
• Experience with AI pipelines, especially retrieval‑augmented generation.
