Neuroscience Sales Specialist – Roanoke, VA

About the role

The Neuroscience Sales Specialist will manage the Roanoke, VA territory, covering Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Pulaski, Marion, and Martinsville. The role focuses on promoting Intra‑Cellular Therapies’ CAPLYTA® and other neuroscience products to healthcare professionals and mental health community centers.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts by engaging HCP offices and mental health centers both in‑person and virtually.
• Develop and execute local strategic and tactical plans, allocate resources, and manage budget and expenses within the territory.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the local market, practice structures, and key influencers, sharing insights with internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Regional Business Manager and other sales specialists to create business plans and capitalize on formulary approvals.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of healthcare sales or account management experience; three or more years in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Strong patient‑centric mindset, high integrity, and adherence to compliance policies.
• Self‑motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to adapt to evolving environments such as telemedicine.

• Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences.
