About the role

Infosys is seeking a Network Visibility Engineer to join its Engineering unit in Basking Ridge, NJ. The role focuses on delivering innovative telecom solutions, leveraging SDN/NFV, 5G network slicing and software‑defined WAN technologies to enhance network visibility and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Document and elicit business requirements for network visibility solutions.
• Facilitate design discussions and capture architectural decisions for software applications.
• Develop, code, and integrate new features while ensuring system stability.
• Perform code reviews, manage code repositories, and maintain code quality.
• Define and execute test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Create user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive measures to improve reliability.
• Maintain comprehensive records of development, testing, and support activities.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative spirit with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirement gathering to implementation.
• Skill in translating complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Passion for design and hands‑on coding.
