Network QA Engineer – Tempe, AZ

About the role

We are looking for a Network QA Engineer to join Infosys’ Engineering unit in Tempe, AZ. The role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of network automation solutions within a telecom and SDN/NFV environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct interviews and workshops to capture user requirements and document stakeholder needs.
• Participate in design discussions, translate software specifications into detailed process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new network applications following design specifications.
• Execute test plans, analyze results, report defects, and support performance enhancements.
• Assist with integration of new software features into existing infrastructure.
• Monitor live applications, troubleshoot issues, and create maintenance documentation.
• Document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions for team knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Agile mindset with strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work across the full software development lifecycle.
• Proactive in monitoring and resolving production issues.
• Commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

Required skills

• Experience with SDN/NFV and network automation tools.
• Automated testing expertise, particularly using Selenium with Java.
• Understanding of telecom domains such as OSS/BSS.
• QA automation experience.
