Network Administrator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator to manage and improve our core network infrastructure in New Orleans. The role ensures secure, reliable connectivity across enterprise systems while supporting critical services and platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation, maintenance, and optimization of the company’s network environment.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Cisco routers and related LAN equipment.
• Administer firewall platforms, apply security policies, and resolve performance issues.
• Manage Active Directory and Azure Active Directory, including access controls and user administration.
• Support VMware‑based systems to maintain network availability and performance.
• Investigate network incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal technology teams on upgrades, resiliency planning, and infrastructure standards.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and changes for consistency and compliance.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience administering enterprise network environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Cisco networking technologies.
• Practical experience with firewall technologies and network security.
• Proficiency in Active Directory and Azure Active Directory management.
• Familiarity with LAN design, support, and performance optimization.
• Experience with VMware in an infrastructure or systems setting.
