National Sales Manager

About the role

Versele, a global leader in premium nutrition for performance animals and pets, is seeking a National Sales Manager to drive growth across the United States. The role will shape and execute the US sales strategy for specialty retail, key accounts, farm & feed, and e‑commerce channels, aligning with global objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a comprehensive US sales strategy, translating strategic priorities into clear targets and channel plans.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10+ sales professionals, fostering a results‑oriented culture.
• Manage relationships with national key accounts and strategic partners, expanding distribution, shelf presence, and online visibility.
• Oversee CRM systems to ensure accurate pipeline tracking and actionable sales insights.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive dynamics to optimise pricing, assortment and channel strategy.
• Collaborate with trade marketing, supply chain and finance to ensure aligned commercial execution.
• Conduct sales meetings, forecasting processes and business reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
