National Sales Director

About the role

R+L Carriers, a top‑ten global transportation provider, is seeking a National Sales Director to lead its sales organization across the United States. You will act as the senior sales champion, driving revenue growth while representing upper management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead national sales initiatives with network‑wide impact and represent senior leadership.
• Grow revenue and profit across a portfolio of assigned accounts.
• Monitor competition, pricing actions, and market trends using MicroStrategy and CRM tools.
• Analyze performance data, develop corrective strategies, and report progress to senior management.
• Build multi‑level customer relationships, uncovering needs of key decision‑makers.
• Collaborate with operations and local sales leaders to align customer strategies with company growth goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work/military experience.
• Minimum 7 years of sales experience with a proven record of meeting targets.
• National or corporate sales management experience, preferably in transportation.
• Valid driver’s license.
