National & Key Account Manager

About the role

Bale Breaker Brewing Company is seeking a driven National & Key Account Manager to expand its presence across major off‑premise retail chains in the Pacific Northwest. Reporting directly to ownership, you will shape the distribution strategy, build relationships with retail buyers, and ensure the brand’s beers are stocked at the right locations at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a national and regional off‑premise strategy aligned with company growth goals.
• Own annual business plans for assigned chain accounts, including resource allocation.
• Lead all aspects of chain account management: buyer meetings, presentations, new item submissions, pricing, promotions, and sales forecasts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retail chain buyers and their district teams.
• Set distribution objectives, create fact‑based selling stories, and close deals.
• Partner with marketing to design chain‑specific programs.
• Coordinate with sales and distributors for timely execution of authorizations and promotions.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate in‑store promotions and conduct quarterly business reviews.
• Analyze internal and external data (IRI, Nielsen, VIP) to support business goals.

Required profile

• Based in Yakima or Washington State; candidates elsewhere in the Pacific Northwest are also considered.
• 5+ years of experience selling alcoholic beverages to national or regional off‑premise chain accounts.
• Deep understanding of the off‑premise national chain landscape, beer trends, pricing strategy, and distributor networks.
• Established relationships with buyers across Grocery, C‑Store, Drug, Mass, and Club channels is a strong plus.
