National Account Manager

About the role

The National Account Manager will lead Lola’s Fine Foods’ relationships with key retail, grocery, and food‑service accounts across the United States. Based in Des Moines, IA, you will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and presenting product lines to negotiating contracts and driving promotional initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new national accounts while expanding existing relationships.
• Present product portfolios, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and develop joint business plans.
• Track sales performance, analyze category trends, and provide actionable insights to drive growth.
• Coordinate with operations, marketing, and finance to ensure accurate forecasting, timely fulfillment, and effective promotional support.
• Conduct regular business reviews, resolve service issues, and represent the brand at customer meetings and industry events.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records in CRM systems and manage pipeline and forecasting activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in national or key account management within CPG, food & beverage, or related consumer goods.
• Strong sales strategy, contract negotiation, pricing, and promotional planning capabilities.
• Ability to analyze sales data, category performance, and market trends to develop actionable account plans.
• Excellent relationship‑building, communication, and presentation skills with buyers and internal stakeholders.
• Highly organized with solid time‑management, pipeline management, and territory planning abilities.
