Nail Tech Lab Assistant (Part‑Time)

About the role

The South Georgia Technical College seeks a part‑time Nail Tech Lab Assistant to support instructional delivery in its Nail Technology program. Working under general supervision, you will help students develop practical skills while ensuring course standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on instruction to students in Nail Tech courses.
• Demonstrate proper teaching techniques, testing, and grading procedures.
• Maintain accurate grade books, records, and inventory of lab equipment.
• Follow the approved course syllabus and complete all related documentation promptly.
• Offer guidance to students on course material and safety practices.
• Potentially travel to other campus locations and work evenings or weekends as needed.

Required profile

• Current Georgia COS or NT cosmetology license.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
• Student‑oriented and customer‑friendly attitude.
• Successful completion of relevant coursework or program.

Required skills

• Nail technology proficiency.
