Multi-Site Kitchen Manager (Floater)

About the role

We are looking for a flexible and organized Kitchen Manager Floater to lead cafeteria operations across multiple school sites. You will step in wherever coverage is needed, ensuring smooth food service, safety compliance, and a positive team culture.

Key responsibilities

• Travel between assigned school locations to provide on‑site leadership.
• Oversee food production, service quality, and safety standards.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff on recipes, sanitation, and equipment use.
• Maintain cleanliness, equipment condition, and accurate documentation.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving of food and supplies at each site.
• Monitor labor schedules to meet coverage and cost goals.
• Enforce ServSafe, HACCP, and child nutrition program regulations.
• Handle cash procedures and act as the primary point of contact during assignments.
• Complete required reports and administrative tasks.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ServSafe certification (or obtain before start).
• Prior experience as a kitchen manager or lead.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and time‑management skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel daily.
• Pass background check, fingerprint screening, and motor‑vehicle record review.
