MuleSoft/Salesforce Engineer – Advanced

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is seeking an experienced Engineer to join its Technology Division. In this onsite position you will support the US Treasury's Retail Securities operation by building and maintaining MuleSoft integrations for a new Salesforce implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide thought‑leadership and best‑practice guidance for the MuleSoft platform.
• Design, develop, test, and document APIs and integrations between legacy systems and modern cloud solutions.
• Support and enhance existing MuleSoft configurations and Salesforce features.
• Lead and mentor team members, setting technical direction and fostering collaboration.
• Conduct problem‑resolution activities for complex hardware, software, and operating‑system issues.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement new software/hardware components.
• Prepare detailed specifications, update system documentation, and ensure compliance with change‑management policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience with the Salesforce platform, including best‑practice implementation and delivery of complex solutions.
• Strong background in MuleSoft integration development and API design.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor peers, and influence cross‑functional technology decisions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills for hardware and software environments.
