MRI Technologist - StaffFlex Contract (13 Weeks)

About the role

AdventHealth in Winter Garden, Florida is hiring an MRI technologist for a 13-week StaffFlex contract. The position pays $62.79 per hour and involves performing CT and MRI imaging procedures, assisting radiologists and maintaining patient records. Two optional shift patterns are offered, both with no call.

Key responsibilities

• Perform CT and MRI imaging procedures and assist radiologists in special procedures such as biopsies
• Maintain examination records, obtain and document patient clinical history, and position patients and equipment for accurate images
• Administer contrast material, monitor patient condition and ensure patient safety and privacy
• Perform basic patient care within the scope of practice and participate in standby call, available within 30 minutes of notification
• Perform equipment quality control and calibrations, coordinate equipment service and preventative maintenance
• Train new employees, help with routine department clerical needs and perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Graduate of an approved A.R.R.T. program with current A.R.R.T. registration and a state radiography license
• 2+ years of CT/MR experience
• Current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification
• Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (RT(MR)) or ARMRIT certification, depending on the unit and state
