MRI Technologist – Palestine

About the role

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist will perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures while supporting other imaging staff and ensuring smooth patient flow. The role requires flexibility to work different shifts and locations as needed, and a commitment to ongoing education, safety, and technical advancement within the scope of licensure.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced MRI examinations and assist with patient throughput.
• Provide basic MRI screening for patients and employees.
• Support other imaging technologists and adapt to different shifts or campuses.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance and report malfunctions.
• Participate in quality assurance (QA) activities and resolve image processing or archiving issues.
• Ensure completed exams are correctly scanned and stored in the PACS system.
• Act as a PACS Superuser during downtime and escalate issues as required.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, confidentiality standards, and MRI safety protocols.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited MRI technologist program.
• Current licensure or certification appropriate for MRI operation.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and multiple locations.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality, safety, and continuous professional development.

Required skills

• MRI operation and imaging techniques.
• Proficiency with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
• Quality assurance (QA) procedures for imaging equipment.
• Equipment troubleshooting and basic maintenance.
• MRI safety screening and compliance.
