MRI Technologist – Full‑Time with Sign‑On & Relocation Bonuses

About the role

The Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a full‑time MRI Technologist. The position includes a $10,000 sign‑on bonus for candidates with at least one year of MRI experience and a relocation bonus for qualified applicants. Opportunities for cross‑training within the Imaging department are also available.

Key responsibilities

• Position patients and perform MRI examinations under the direction of a radiologist, adapting protocols to achieve optimal diagnostic images.
• Evaluate lab values, assess contraindications, verify patient identity and pregnancy status, and select appropriate shielding and immobilization devices.
• Monitor patients and equipment during scans, document exam times, and report any issues immediately to the supervisor.
• Utilize advanced MRI techniques such as angiography, bilateral run‑offs, and respiratory gating software to produce high‑quality images.

Required profile

• Graduate of an ARRT‑ or ARMRIT‑accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
• Current ARRT registration and MRI certification (or obtain certification within 9 months of hire).
• Minimum of one year of MRI technologist experience preferred.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Required skills

• Proficient operation of MRI scanners and related hardware.
• Advanced MRI angiography and image reformatting techniques.
• Knowledge of magnetic resonance safety compliance requirements.
• Experience with injectors, respiratory gating software, and patient vital‑monitor integration.
