MRI Technologist – Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities

About the role

The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) is seeking dedicated MRI Technologists for full‑time, weekend part‑time, and per‑diem positions across several South Florida locations. Key responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and associated equipment to produce high‑quality diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols, infection control, and radiation standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to coordinate patient care.
• Document procedures and imaging results accurately in the health record system.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
• ARRT MRI certification or eligibility for registry.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year of MRI experience preferred, but entry‑level candidates are welcome.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
