MRI Technologist, Chicago Southland

About the role

Scan.com is building a national imaging network and needs a Mobile MRI Technologist to lead clinical operations for its high‑end mobile units in Chicago Southland. You will own the end‑to‑end patient experience, from safety screening to high‑fidelity imaging, while ensuring ACR compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute high‑quality MRI scans on Siemens Espree systems with a focus on diagnostic excellence and patient comfort.
• Provide compassionate, patient‑centered care, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
• Own system performance, conducting daily QC/QA and maintaining documentation for accreditation.
• Lead patient screening and safety protocols to ensure a seamless, anxiety‑free experience.
• Serve as first line of technical troubleshooting and collaborate with Field Service Engineers.
• Manage workflow using Acuity Scheduling and Google Workspace to keep patient records accurate and real‑time.

Required profile

• Current ARRT (MR) credential.
• Extensive experience scanning on Siemens Espree MRI systems.
• Proven track record of obtaining or maintaining ACR certification for MRI facilities.
• Deep understanding of MRI safety protocols and rigorous screening procedures.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate with engineers and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) and scheduling software such as Acuity.
