MRB Engineer II – A220 (Aviation)

About the role

The MRB Engineer II will join Airbus' A220 Engineering department at the Mobile, AL manufacturing facility. You will act as the liaison engineer for material review board (MRB) activities, developing and approving engineering solutions for aircraft non‑conformities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and approve corrective solutions for aircraft system, cabin, electrical, mechanical, and structural non‑conformities.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional engineering specialties to ensure compliance with certification and quality standards.
• Document MRB decisions and maintain traceability of engineering changes.
• Provide technical expertise during investigations and support production teams on the flight line.

Required profile

• Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
• Experience with aircraft systems, structures, or installation engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
