Molding Engineer

About the role

West Pharmaceutical Services is seeking a Molding Engineer to support automated assembly and injection molding manufacturing across multiple product lines. This onsite role offers the opportunity to work within a historic company dedicated to improving patient lives through innovative pharmaceutical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering support from concept through production, including equipment specification, drawing creation, and project timeline management.
• Perform process development on new and existing molds and execute engineering studies.
• Assist with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic design modifications.
• Coordinate validations, process engineering evaluations, and capital projects, ensuring documentation and history are maintained.
• Improve manufacturing processes to achieve high quality at minimum cost and train personnel on special equipment.

Required profile

• Hands‑on engineering experience in injection molding environments.
• Ability to manage projects, evaluate resources, and stay within budget.
• Strong analytical skills for data research, feasibility studies, and process optimization.
• Effective communication with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and corporate stakeholders.
