Mobile Platform Builder

About the role

Ring is looking for a Mobile Platform Builder to join the App Platform team. You will create and maintain the core iOS and Android SDKs, frameworks, and tooling that power millions of Ring customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native iOS and Android platform components such as SDKs, shared libraries, and architectural primitives.
• Write high‑quality, well‑tested code with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Leverage AI‑powered development tools for code generation, testing, review, debugging, documentation, and defect resolution.
• Contribute to Ring’s mobile architecture, identifying friction points and proposing improvements.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and automated testing infrastructure.
• Partner with feature teams to ensure platform components are easy to adopt, well‑documented, and meet real‑world needs.
• Collaborate with backend, product, and UX teams to deliver cohesive end‑to‑end experiences.

Required profile

• Strong passion for mobile development and deep expertise in native iOS and/or Android.
• Experience working with modern Swift, Kotlin, and/or React Native.
• Comfort using AI‑assisted workflows to increase development efficiency.
• Ability to analyze performance, memory, and battery characteristics and drive improvements.
