Mobile Platform Builder (iOS/Android)

About the role

Ring is looking for a Mobile Platform Builder to design, develop, and maintain the core iOS and Android components that power millions of daily users. You will work on SDKs, shared libraries, and tooling that enable feature teams to ship high‑quality experiences at massive scale.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain native iOS and Android platform components—including SDKs, architectural primitives, and developer tooling.
• Write clean, well‑tested, high‑performance code with a focus on reliability and maintainability.
• Leverage AI‑powered development tools for code generation, testing, review, debugging, and documentation.
• Contribute to Ring’s mobile architecture roadmap, identifying friction points and proposing improvements.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and automated testing infrastructure.
• Partner with feature teams to ensure platform components are easy to adopt, well‑documented, and meet real‑world needs.
• Collaborate with backend, product, and UX teams to deliver cohesive end‑to‑end experiences.

Required profile

• Passion for deep mobile development and building reusable platform components.
• Strong fundamentals in native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin/Java) development.
• Experience with modern clean‑architecture patterns and large‑scale codebases.
• Comfort using AI‑assisted workflows to accelerate development.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with multiple engineering and product teams.
