Mobile MRI Technologist (Sacramento)

About the role

Scan.com is building a national imaging network and needs a Mobile MRI Technologist to lead clinical operations on its high‑end mobile units in Sacramento. You will own the full patient experience, from safety screening to high‑quality imaging, while ensuring the unit meets ACR compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality MRI scans on Siemens Espree systems with a focus on diagnostic excellence and patient comfort.
• Provide compassionate patient care, explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and maintaining safety throughout exams.
• Own system performance, conduct daily QC/QA, and maintain documentation for accreditation.
• Lead patient screening and safety protocols to ensure a seamless, anxiety‑free experience.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with Field Service Engineers for proactive maintenance.
• Manage patient flow using Acuity Scheduling and Google Workspace, ensuring accurate real‑time records.

Required profile

• Current ARRT (MR) certification.
• Extensive experience scanning on Siemens Espree MRI systems.
• Proven track record of obtaining or maintaining ACR certification for MRI facilities.
• Deep knowledge of MRI safety protocols and rigorous screening procedures.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with engineers.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) and quick learning of scheduling software such as Acuity.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Sacramento, CA.
